Is an External Wallet Essential for Pianity Usage?

No, external wallets aren't mandatory. Once you confirm your email, Pianity automatically provisions a wallet. But, for enhanced control, you have the option to connect an external wallet.

Which External Wallets Are Compatible with Pianity?

Pianity supports MetaMask and ArConnect external wallets for now.

Step-by-Step Guide to Setting Up an External Wallet


Create a MetaMask wallet by following the steps outlined below:

Download MetaMask for your chosen browser. (Imagine a screenshot here displaying the MetaMask download page)
Click "Get Started" and then "Create a Wallet."
Follow the displayed instructions to finalize your wallet setup. (Here, a screenshot of the instructions page would be helpful)
You'll receive a "Secret Recovery Phrase". Safely note it down and secure it – it's crucial to your wallet security.

Linking Your External Wallet to Pianity: A Step-by-Step Guide

Connect your external wallet to Pianity with these straightforward steps:

Go to the wallet connection page. (A screenshot of the page will help users identify the right page)
Select "Continue with Metamask" or "Continue with ArConnect," as desired.
Enter your email and select a username.
Click "Sign up."

Note: If you have an existing Pianity account, you cannot link an external wallet to it – you'll need to create a new account.

Is NFT Transfer to My External Wallet Possible?

Currently, you cannot transfer NFTs to your external wallet. However, we're actively working towards making this feature available soon. Keep an eye out for updates!
